MANAGEMENT

Sharon Jones – Nursery Coordinator

Sharon is responsible for quality assurance across the nursery setting and works very closely with the Nursery Manager, the Nursery Leader/Deputy Manager and the Catering Supervisor to ensure high standards are met and maintained.

Sharen Ellis – Nursery Manager

Sharen has been the Nursery Manager for thirty years and has a BA in Early Years (equivalent to a level 6) and has daily contact with all babies, toddlers and pre-school children in the nursery as well as staff. Sharen ensures the smooth running of the nursery on a day-to-day basis and is the designated Safeguard lead.  She also has responsibility for H&S and leads on preparations for Ofsted inspections. Sharen works very closely with the Nursery Leader/Deputy Manager and the Nursery Coordinator.

Sarah Hodges – Nursery Leader/Deputy Manager

Sarah has been with the nursery for nineteen years and has a Level 4 qualification in Child Care.  Sarah is the pre-school room leader and is responsible for preparing her children for school.  She works closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth running of the nursery on a day-to-day basis and is the lead for Equality & Diversity and the deputy lead for Safeguarding.  Sarah also works very closely with the Nursery Coordinator.

Tanya Taylor – Catering Supervisor & Nursery Practitioner

Tanya has been with the nursery for seven years. Tanya is the Catering Supervisor for the nursery and ensures the children have healthy, well-balanced meals, and has maintained our level 5 food hygiene rating . She works very closely with the Nursery Coordinator and holds the Food Hygiene level 3 certificate. Tanya also holds a Level 3 qualification in Child Care and is one of the Nursery Practitioners.

Imreen Kauser – Apprentice Nursery Practitioner

Imreen started her apprenticeship with us in April 2024 and has been working hard to achieve her level 2 in child care.
